The printer offers two distinct modes: a unique high-speed mode (300x300dpi) and a high-resolution mode (300x600dpi), available in both glossy and matte finishes.

The DS-RX1HS comes equipped with enhanced operational support tools, including the integration of USB iSerial for printing on multiple DS-RX1HS printers and a new Status App for Windows OS. This real-time monitoring tool displays essential information such as the type of media loaded, remaining prints, printer status, total print count, firmware version, serial number, and color control data.

For Mac users, the Mac OS-X Print Center Driver and a new printer Status App for RX1HS and RX1 for Windows are available for download. DNP also offers additional utility apps for Windows, like the Hot Folder Print Utility, to streamline the photo printing process.
